Vaibhav Sooryavanshi finally announced his arrival in international cricket in style on Thursday as he became the youngest-ever player to score a half-century in T20 Internationals against Zimbabwe in the first match of the ongoing three-match series at the Harare Sports Club.

Chasing a paltry total of just 126 runs, Sooryavanshi was off to a fiery start and completed his 50 in just 18 balls. However, he was soon dismissed after completing the milestone.

The Southpaw, however, got his name into the history books with a marvellous knock against the Chevrons and showed the world that he is ready for the challenge in international cricket after an impressive IPL campaign.

Before the Zimbabwe series, Sooryavanshi had an unimpressive UK tour. After sitting out the Ireland series, the southpaw got his chance in the contest against England, however, he failed to make a mark with his bat.
