Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed key issues related to the development and progress of the national capital. During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed the Prime Minister on various ongoing and upcoming initiatives of the Delhi Government and praised his visionary leadership as a source of inspiration for Delhi’s holistic development.

CM Gupta said the Prime Minister shared his vision for Delhi’s growth, which would provide new direction and momentum to the capital’s progress. She emphasised that making Delhi clean and green remained among her government’s top priorities.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister presented a memento of the National War Memorial to the Prime Minister. She said the government is committed to encouraging schoolchildren to visit the National War Memorial so they develop a deeper sense of patriotism and national pride.

CM Gupta said, “Inspired by the PM’s leadership, we are committed to taking Delhi to new heights of development.”

The CM added key development issues related to Delhi were discussed during the meeting.
