Delhi BJP’s ‘Sangathan Parv’ to begin next week, organisational elections on agenda

The Delhi unit of the BJP is set to begin its organisational restructuring process, termed Sangathan Parv, next week, the party said on Sunday.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said, “The BJP is a party that operates through collective leadership while also ensuring internal democracy, providing every worker the opportunity to be part of the organisational structure.”

To oversee the restructuring process, the National Election Officer has appointed Mahendra Nagpal as the Election Officer for Delhi. Assisting him in this role will be Yogesh Atrey and Vijay Solanki, who have been designated as Assistant Election Officers.

The restructuring process will include elections at multiple levels, starting from booth committees, mandal committees, district committees and culminating with the state committee. However, Sachdeva mentioned that in cases where consensus exists among party workers, committees could also be formed through coordination rather than elections.

The announcement marks the beginning of an important phase for Delhi BJP as it looks to strengthen its organisational structure following their win in the Delhi assembly elections.
