And just like that, the 18th season of the beloved reality show Bigg Boss ended on Sunday night. Premiered on October 6, 2024, Bigg Boss 18 concludes today after an eventful journey spanning 105 days with Karanveer Mehra as the winner of the show and Vivian Dsena as the first runner-up. Adding a touch of glitz and glamour to the event, Bollywood icons Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar are set to attend the Bigg Boss 18 grand finale

Hosted by Salman Khan, the season began with 23 housemates and ended with Karanveer as the winner and Vivian and Rajat Dalal as the runners-up. The finalists also included Eisha Singh, and Avinash Mishra, along with model-activist Chum Darang.

Although actor Shilpa Shirodkar, sister of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar, was a strong contender for a spot in the finale, she was eliminated just four days before the grand event. Art director Omung Kumar announced her exit after she garnered the lowest votes. Despite her disappointment, Shilpa, in an exclusive interview with SCREEN, described her time on the show as the best journey of her life.

In the previous season of the show (Bigg Boss: Dil, Dimaag aur Dum Ka Game), comedian and rapper Munawar Faruqui had claimed the title, with actor Abhishek Kumar finishing as the runner-up. The other finalists were actors Mannara Chopra and Ankita Lokhande, and influencer and gamer Arun Srikanth Mashettey.
