To mobilise support for polls, BJP plans ‘Parivartan Yatra’

Gearing up for the upcoming Assembly elections, the Delhi BJP on Saturday announced its citywide Parivartan Yatra as part of its campaign strategy. Sachdeva announced the initiative along with key appointments to various election committees.

A nine-member committee has been formed to oversee the Parivartan Yatra with former Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay serving as its convener. The committee also includes senior party leaders Rajiv Babbar, Rekha Gupta, Raja Iqbal Singh, Jai Bhagwan Yadav, Satendra Chaudhary, Rajesh Goel, Kishan Sharma and Kaushal Mishra.

Additionally, Sachdeva revealed that BJP general secretary Vishnu Mittal has been appointed a member of the Delhi Assembly Election Coordination Committee.

Former Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot, who recently joined the BJP after leaving the Aam Aadmi Party, has been given dual responsibilities.
