Rain lashed parts of Delhi on early Saturday, providing relief from the humid weather and bringing the temperature down.
Safdarjung, the city’s primary weather station, recorded 2.9 mm of rain, Lodhi Road recorded 3 mm, the Ridge observatory recorded 0.4 mm and SPS Mayur Vihar recorded 15.5 mm of rainfall between 5.30 to 8.30 am, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather department has predicted a generally cloudy sky with light rain throughout the day.
