Delhi BJP held  held a demonstration near Aam Aadmi Party office led by Virendra Sachdeva & Ramvir Singh Bidhuri courted arrest against the distribution of fake & poor quality medicines in Delhi Government hospitals and holding CM Arvind Kejriwal & Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj responsible demanded their resignation for the medicines.

Delhi Police used water canons on BJP workers as they broke police barricades to run towards AAP office and arrested them.

Addressing the demonstration Delhi BJP President  Virendra Sachdeva said that CM Arvind Kejriwal used to claim that his government’s health model is a pioneer in the country but today Kejriwal Government’s health model stands exposed in corruption & non performance.

He said that Kejriwal Government’s hospitals lack medical tests & x-ray etc. facilities for poor, give poor quality medicines to poor patients & are unsafe for female medico staff too. Only this week we have seen the incident of a female medico at Delhi Government’s Burari Hospital complaining of sexual harrasment and Delhi Government tried to suppress it for 3 days. Delhi BJP President said both Kejriwal & Bhardwaj knew from July 2023 about fake medicines but did not take any steps to stop their distribution which proves their connivance in medicines scam hence they both should own responsibility and resign
