Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to extend his heartfelt birthday wishes to Amitabh Bachchan, who celebrated his 81st birthday today. The actor shared a snapshot from a recent advertisement in which both SRK and Big B shared the screen. In his post, Shah Rukh described Amitabh  as a true blessing and referred to him as the “toughest of them all”.

In his birthday message to Amitabh, Shah Rukh wrote, “Tough runs don’t last….tough runners do. And Sir you are the toughest of them all. Last 30 yrs just being around u and breathing the same air as you….has been a blessing. Wish u the best on your birthday….keep running & inspiring us. Sir and that Gym of yours… is unbelievable. Love u!  @SrBachchan.”

Earlier today, Amitabh’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, offered glimpses of his birthday celebration at home. The megastar also took time to step out of his house to meet fans who had been waiting eagerly throughout the day to catch a glimpse of the legendary actor on his special day.
