Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in New Delhi today to participate in the 18th BRICS Summit. Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh received him at the airport. During his visit, President Putin is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and participate in a series of bilateral meetings. In a social media post, the External Affairs Ministry said that India and Russia share multifaceted and longstanding ties anchored in a Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
