As the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) completed 12 consecutive years in office on Wednesday, leaders of the coalition convened a key meeting to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on achieving the milestone.

During the conclave, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu lauded PM Modi on becoming the country’s longest-serving elected head of government.

Modi Ji, you are leading this century. You inspire and energise us all. The resolve you have shown for public service and the work you have accomplished are unparalleled”, Naidu said during the huddle.

Highlighting the BJP’s landslide victory in the West Bengal Assembly Election 2026, the Andhra CM said: “The massive mandate the BJP received in Bengal under your leadership has convinced me what Bengal thinks today, the nation thinks tomorrow.”

“Today, Honorable Prime Minister Ji, I can say with confidence that under your leadership, Bengal will spearhead the nation’s development. Whether it is infrastructure or the welfare of the poor, you have set new benchmarks for development”, he added, vowing the government’s commitment to the nation’s development.
