Priyanka Chopra Receives Global Vanguard Honour at Gold House Gala 2026

Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas just received the prestigious Global Vanguard Honour at the Gold House Gold Gala 2026, a recognition reserved for influential figures shaping cross-cultural narratives and global representation.

One of the most powerful cultural voices on the international stage today, the global icon has spent over two decades breaking barriers for South Asian talent globally. From becoming the first South Asian actor to headline an American network drama with Quantico to fronting solo international posters for global franchises like Citadel, she has consistently redefined representation for Indian artists in mainstream global entertainment.

Her remarkable 25-year journey has seamlessly bridged Hindi cinema and Hollywood, establishing her as one of the rare Indian stars to build sustained influence across entertainment, fashion, business and advocacy on a truly global scale.

Held at The Music Centre in downtown Los Angeles under the theme “A New Gold World,” the Gold Gala 2026 celebrated cultural influence, leadership and shared progress. Priyanka joined fellow honourees, including Charles Melton, Jet Li, Simu Liu, EJAE and more.

On the red carpet, she turned heads in a vintage chikankari sculptural gown by designer Amit Aggarwal. Crafted from a nearly 20-year-old chikankari saree, the one-shoulder ensemble beautifully blended traditional Indian embroidery with a modern sculptural silhouette. The actress was styled by Ami Patel.
