1,511 unauthorised colonies regularised under PM UDAY Scheme Delhi CM

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday announced the regularisation of 1,511 of 1,731 unauthorised colonies under the PM-UDAY scheme.

Addressing a press conference in the national capital, CM Gupta said that the move will benefit around 50 lakh beneficiaries of the PM UDAY scheme

The chief minister further stated that the number of conveyance deeds, currently at 40,000, will be increased, and all technical issues will be resolved.

“Earlier, surveys were conducted by DDA officials, but now joint surveys will be carried out by patwaris and naib tehsildars from the Delhi government’s revenue department. A fixed timeline has also been set for the entire process, from application to issuance of conveyance deeds,” she said.

She said the application process will start from April 24. “GIS survey reports to be summust be provided within 7 days, deficiency memos within 15 days, and conveyance deeds must be issued within 45 days, with a complete PM UDAY register maintained.”
