Indian celebrities, including actor Esha Gupta, actor Sonal Chauhan, and badminton star PV Sindhu, are among several Indians left stranded in Dubai after flights were suspended due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.
According to reports, at least 11 airspaces — Tehran, Tel Aviv, Beirut, Jeddah, Bahrain, Muscat, Baghdad, Amman, Kuwait, Doha and the UAE — have been shut for passenger flights due to the ongoing conflict. The closures have triggered widespread cancellations and operational disruptions across the region.
Actor Esha Gupta reassured her fans that she is safe in Dubai. In an Instagram story shared on Sunday, March 1, she apologised for not responding to messages and confirmed that she and her team are fine.
“We are ok, we are safe! Times are scary, very tough. God is there to protect us. We trust the @modgovae is doing the best in protecting and interception,” she wrote.
Gupta also said she is praying for those affected by the crisis and hopes to return to India soon.
