Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday lauded the Ahmedabad International Flower Show 2026, describing it as an “enchanting” and shining example of creativity, sustainability and community participation that reflects the city’s vibrant spirit and deep connection with nature.
Responding to a post by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on X, the Prime Minister said, “The Ahmedabad Flower Show brings together creativity, sustainability and community participation, while beautifully showcasing the city’s vibrant spirit and love for nature. It is also commendable how this flower show has grown in scale and imagination over the years.”
Earlier, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel highlighted the show’s global recognition, announcing that the 14th edition of the event, organised by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, has created two Guinness World Records. These include the world’s largest flower mandala and the world’s largest flower portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
