BJP protests Kejriwal’s Nangloi visit, demands accountability

Delhi BJP leaders and residents staged a massive protest in Nangloi on Wednesday, forcing former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to cut short his visit. The protest, led by BJP MP Yogender Chandolia, was sparked by alleged government neglect of the area’s infrastructure, including broken roads and waterlogging, which have plagued residents for years.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva accused Kejriwal and his government of using political stunts to distract from their failures. “The people of Delhi are fed up with the political gimmicks of Kejriwal and the Atishi government. The citizens are now ready to teach them a political lesson,” Sachdeva said.

Nangloi, Kirari and Mundka have become symbols of urban neglect, with residents suffering from broken roads and severe waterlogging, particularly during this year’s monsoon.
