Most Indians are satisfied with the performance of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government over the last five years, News18’s Mega Opinion Poll has revealed.

The survey, India’s biggest opinion poll, covers a sample size of over 1.18 lakh eligible voters across 21 states and different demographic backgrounds.

According to the survey, about 80 percent of the respondents said they were “somewhat to very satisfied” with the performance of the BJP-led central government.

Around 10 per cent of the individuals said they were “neither satisfied nor dissatisfied” while five percent said they were “somewhat dissatisfied”. Only four percent of the respondents said they were “very dissatisfied” with the Modi government.

Meanwhile, 40 percent of the respondents were “very satisfied” and 24 percent were “somewhat satisfied” with the sitting MPs of their respective Lok Sabha constituencies. Only 7 percent were “very dissatisfied” and 11 percent were “somewhat dissatisfied”
