‘Go all out, win’: PM Modi’s message to ministers at Viksit Bharat 2047 meet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired the last meeting of the council of ministers, where he told his colleagues to go and win the Lok Sabha elections. He also said they will “meet again very soon”, reflecting his confidence that the government under him will return to power.

According to government sources, the council brainstormed on a vision document for ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ and a detailed action plan for the next five years. It also worked on a 100-day agenda for quick implementation when the new government is formed in May, they said.

In the day-long deliberation, the prime minister advised his colleagues to be careful about who they meet so as to ensure that the wrong message does not go out. “During the elections, one has to be careful about who we meet and to check what message we convey,” he said at the meeting.

He added: “Go and win the upcoming polls and we will meet again very soon.”
