Rapid development across India is garnering praise across the world and this is due to the power of the people who have elected a stable government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday, adding that the country is on a path towards becoming a developed nation by the centenary of its independence in 2047.

He was speaking after dedicating development projects worth ₹5,950 crore at a public event in Mehsana. The PM also participated in a road show and visited the Ambaji temple in Banaskantha before launching the projects.
