Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed around 51,000 appointment letters to newly-inducted recruits on Tuesday via video conferencing. The Rozgar Mela was held at 46 locations across the country, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement. Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister also congratulated all the newly inducted recruits who have received appointment letters.
PM Modi also said that the government’s policies are aimed at opening new doors for women and that the country’s new future has begus from the new Parliament building. “A few days ago, half the country’s population got a big strength in the form of ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ (Women’s Reservation Bill),” he added.
Speaking further the Prime Minister claimed that women have always brought a change in several fields, with new energy. He also stressed that the country has resolved to become a developed India by 2047. Aaj Bharat ki betiya space se sport tak anek keertimaan bana rahi hain’…We are going to become the third-largest economy in the next few years,” the PM added.
Through this Rozgar Mela event, the government is recruiting personnel in various Ministries/Departments including the Department of Posts, the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, among others.
