After breaking records of ‘Baahubali 2’ by collecting Rs 90 crore over its second weekend, Anil Sharma’s ‘Gadar 2’ witnessed a drop on its second Monday.
According to early estimates, ‘Gadar 2 earned Rs 14 crore nett in India on its 11th day. The film reportedly witnessed a 64.01 percent drop in its earnings on its second Monday. It has so far earned Rs 389 crore, a report in Sacnilk.com stated.

On Monday, Gadar 2 recorded the highest second-weekend collection in the history of
Bollywood. In the second weekend, Gadar 2 collected Rs 90.47 crore, in three days. This
record was previously held by Prabhas’ Baahubali 2, when it created history in India by
collecting Rs 80.75 crore in its second weekend as well.
Meanwhile, Sunny recently hosted a special screening of the film in London. The
exclusive screening was held at the High Commission of India, London.
After making a smashing entry with a vibrant dhol performance, Sunny said, “I was
apprehensive about doing the film. When Anil Sharma and Shaktiman approached me
with Gadar 2, it resonated just like the original.”
Directed by Anil Sharma, the film also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead
roles. The film, which released on August 11, locked horns with Akshay Kumar and
Pankaj Tripathi starrer ‘OMG 2’ at the box office.
