Delhi CM presents vision for ‘Viksit Delhi’ at NITI Aayog meet, stresses inter-state coordination for Yamuna cleaning

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Thursday that a developed nation’s identity is determined not only by economic or technological progress but also by the capability and productivity of its citizens.

At the 11th meeting of the NITI Aayog Governing Council, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the chief minister presented her vision for the development of the national capital and its role in building ‘Viksit Bharat 2047,’ emphasizing that the city has emerged as a powerful engine driving the country’s transformation.

Gupta systematically presented information on the government’s schemes and achievements, detailing the work underway in education, health, infrastructure, and social welfare. He added that continuous and serious efforts are being made toward realizing a ‘Viksit Delhi’.
She thanked the Prime Minister and the Central government for extending cooperation in her government’s endeavour to transform the national capital into a world-class city. She said that irrespective of the political landscape, the Centre has always supported Delhi and extended nearly ₹1 lakh crore in assistance to develop its road infrastructure.
