CSK thrash Mumbai Indians riding on Sanju Samson’s century

Arch-rivals Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings locked horns at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai this Thursday, April 23. 

MI finally ended their four-match losing streak with a dominant performance in their last game as they beat Gujarat Titans by 99 runs.

CSK, on the other hand, lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad after winning back-to-back games against Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders. 

On Thursday, Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten century, his second in IPL 2026, as CSK outclassed MI by 103 runs and handed them their biggest-ever loss.
