Speaking on the roadmap for a “Viksit Bharat”, the Speaker said young people were not just beneficiaries of a developed India, but active participants in shaping its future. “The energy and innovation of the youth are the driving forces behind the mission to make India a developed nation by 2047,” he said, adding that the current era belonged to talent and innovation.

Encouraging students to take responsibility beyond academics, Gupta remarked, “Your degree is not just a piece of paper, but a declaration of your responsibility towards society.” Referring to Ambedkar’s call to “Educate, Organise, and Struggle,” he said that in the present context it means using education to solve national challenges and promote inclusive growth.

Addressing students who did not receive awards, Gupta said setbacks should be viewed as opportunities for greater effort. “The real race of life begins outside college, where your character and attitude matter more than your degree. Do not be afraid to take risks; those who rise after falling are the ones who create history,” he said.
