The data mentioned that the city reported 491 murder cases in 2025, with a solve percentage of 95.32 per cent, in contrast to 504 in 2024 and 506 in 2023.

The attempt to murder cases also came down. In 2025, the city recorded 854 such cases, with a solve percentage of 98.13, which stood at 898 in 2024 and 757 in 2023.

Additionally, crime against women also saw a marginal dip in the year. In 2025, the national capital recorded 1,708 cases of molestation of women; with case solve percentage of 95, which were 2037 in 2024 and 2345 in 2023.

In a similar fashion, the cases of eve-teasing stood at 337 in 2025, with case solve percentage of 89.02, which were 362 in 2024 and 381 in 2023.

Moreover, the city recorded 1,901 cases of rape in 2025, with solve percentage of 97.11, which stood at 2076 in 2024 and 2141 in 2023, the data mentioned.

The national capital also saw a drop in non-heinous cases such as snatching, robbery and extortion. In 2023, 1,654 robbery cases were registered, but this fell to 1,510 in 2024 and to 1,326 in 2025, with a high rate of solving cases at 97.51 per cent.

In extortion cases, while 212 were registered in 2025, it was 228 in 2024 and 204 in 2023. However, the rate at which extortion cases were solved was a poor 63.68 per cent.
