With its impeccable entertainment value and star power, Sikandar has begun to win people over. In the pre-Eid week, it made a record-breaking Rs 30.06 crore opening in India. The action thriller, starring Salman Khan, hit theatres on Eid after a two-year gap, with Rashmika Mandanna in a key role. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the action-thriller lived up to the hype. Sikandar earned Rs 54 crores worldwide on opening day at the box office. 

Sikandar added to the joyous celebrations of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi as it debuted on big screens on March 30th, accompanied by the overwhelming adoration of the public. 

Sikandar reached an incredible milestone at the box office, showcasing Salman Khan’s power of his fame. This action extravaganza, which was directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, made a record-breaking 54 crores net on its first day of release. Salman Khan’s movies are known for making huge box office splashes during Eid. 

Sikandar, which was released the day before Eid, has had a tremendous opening and surpassed pre-Eid expectations. It is expected that Sikandar’s second day at the box office, which falls on Eid celebrations, would generate enormous box office receipts and surpass the movie’s global totals in a matter of days.

The figures indicate a respectable turnout, but they fall short of some of Salman Khan’s other Eid movies, which had remarkable debuts. Sultan (2016) made Rs 36.54 crore on its first day of release, whereas Tiger 3 (2023) made Rs 53.3 crore on its first day of release.
