Emraan Hashmi has announced the release of Awarapan 2 while sharing its official teaser on social media. The actor has confirmed the movie and is set to return as Shivam Pandit. The teaser gives fans glimpses of what to expect from the sequel.

The teaser features glimpses from the Mohit Suri film. It shows moments from Awarapan, where Emraan is standing on a boat, going through traumatic phases and narrating a heart wrenching love story. “Kisi aur ki zindagi ke liye marna hi meri manzil hai (To die for someone else’s life is my destiny). Emraan has also announced that Awarapan 2 is scheduled to release in the theatres on April 3, 2026. Fans took to the comments to laud the actor. Many have noted that they cannot wait for the sequel, while many are planning to rewatch the 2007 movie.
