The much-awaited trailer of Salman Khan’s upcoming Eid release, Sikandar, is out. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the trailer promises a full-blown masala actioner, set to unfold on the 70mm screens on March 30. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.

The three-minute-38-second-long trailer, much like the teaser, is high on two things: dialoguebaazi, reminiscent of 80s and 90s Hindi films, and intense action. Salman is a killing machine on a mission to fight against injustice. Sathyaraj appears to be essaying the role of a corrupt politician, while Rashmika plays Salman’s love interest.

The trailer begins with Salman’s photo on the ‘Wanted’ board. But soon, we learn that he is called ‘Rajkot ka Raja,’ ‘Raja Sahab,’ ‘Sanjay Sahab,’ and ‘Sikandar Sahab.’ He then moves from Rajkot to Mumbai, where he takes on Sathyaraj’s character. But why is he fighting? What tragedy strikes Sikandar? The answers will be revealed on March 30, when Sikandar releases in cinemas.

Sikandar marks the maiden collaboration between Murugadoss and Salman Khan. The filmmaker previously directed Aamir Khan in his 2008 blockbuster Ghajini.
