Delhi Poll Mania: BJP’s mega push Senior leaders target key regional vote banks

With only five days left for the Delhi Assembly polls, the BJP has intensified its campaign, deploying top leaders to target various communities living in the national capital. The party is leaving no stone unturned to woo voters and gain a decisive edge over its rivals.

BJP leaders are focusing on key constituencies, particularly those with significant populations of Purvanchalis, Sikhs, Marathis, Bengalis, and other communities. The party is also reaching out to slum dwellers and unorganised sector workers, promising them better living conditions and employment opportunities.

The BJP plans to hold around 200 rallies, roadshows, and other campaign programmes for the elections till February 3, the last day of campaigning.

The BJP has assigned senior leaders of different states and communities to campaign in Delhi. Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states such as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Assam are campaigning extensively for the Assembly polls in the national capital.

The following are the regional factors on which the BJP is putting a lot of focus.

There are more than 40 lakh Purvanchalis residing in Delhi, who play a very crucial role in the formation of the government. More than 20 seats in Delhi are Purvanchal-dominated.
