A loud explosion was reported near a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) school on Sunday morning in Prashant Vihar area of Delhi’s Rohini. The cause of the explosion has yet to be determined.

Police confirmed that the wall of the school, nearby shops, and a parked car sustained damage, and the area has been cordoned off. No one was injured in the explosion.

A bomb squad and police forensic team were immediately dispatched to the scene near the CRPF school in Rohini’s Sector 14 to ascertain the cause of the explosion that was reported at around 7.50 am

Plumes of smoke were observed billowing from the site, and a video purportedly showing the aftermath of the explosion surfaced on social media, showing thick, white smoke.
