Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva launched a searing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday, accusing the party of political desperation and disconnection from the public. Sachdeva’s remarks come in the wake of AAP’s launch of the ‘Aapka MLA Aapke Dwar’ campaign, which he dismissed as a gimmick aimed at masking the party’s declining influence.

“AAP has been out of touch with the public for the last ten years,” Sachdeva said. “Now, they are forced to resort to gimmicks like ‘Aapka MLA Aapke Dwar’ in an attempt to reconnect with the masses. But the reality is that even this won’t help them recover the ground they’ve lost.”

AAP’s waning popularity in Delhi. “In 52 Assembly constituencies, including the nine reserved for Scheduled Castes, the public delivered a severe defeat to AAP.
