Need double engine govt in Delhi to give results : Piyush Goyal

The Delhi BJP outlined its strategy for the upcoming Assembly elections during its extended executive meeting at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday. The meeting was attended by prominent leaders, including Union Minister Piyush Goyal and MPs Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, and Bansuri Swaraj.

In a resolution passed at the meeting, the Delhi BJP expressed its resolve to remove the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, citing issues of “corruption, misgovernance and anarchy”. The resolution affirmed, “The victory of the Lok Sabha elections will be replicated in the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for early next year.”

During the meeting, which focused on the BJP’s preparedness for the Assembly elections, leaders and workers were asked to inform people about the Narendra Modi-led Central Government’s schemes and welfare projects while highlighting the “failures” of the AAP-led Delhi dispensation.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva highlighted the party’s recent achievements and public response to alleged corruption under the AAP government.
