Manoj Tiwari, BJP candidate from North-East Delhi constituency for the Lok Sabha elections, on Tuesday hit out at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over civic woes in areas of his Lok Sabha constituency by referring to the condition of roads and sewers.
In a post on X, Tiwari, singer and actor, while sharing a short video, said, “Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today after taking cognizance of Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena, you have woken up from ‘Kumbhkarni’ sleep after 9 years..! The condition of roads and sewers is similar in the Babarpur, Mustafabad, Timarpur, Burari, Gokulpur, Seemapuri, Seelampur areas of my Lok Sabha constituency.”
Further slamming the Delhi Chief Minister, Tiwari, the sitting MP from the same constituency said, “Public work is not done by correspondence on empty Twitter, if you have even a little shame left, then come on an inspection tour to my area in the next 24 hours, otherwise I will myself show what bad condition you have done to Delhi.”
Meanwhile, Kejriwal has thanked the Delhi Lieutenant Governor for pointing out key issues in Sangam Vihar, a locality in South Delhi, and also said the work that the latter was doing should have been done by the opposition.
“LG Sahib, I am thankful to you that you pointed out our shortcomings. Earlier, you had also highlighted the shortcomings of Kirari and Burari.
