Accusing the previous Governments of neglecting the remote and far-flung areas in development and welfare programmes, Union Minister in PMO with Independent Charge of Science & Technology, Dr Jitendra Singh today said that these areas received due attention during Narendra Modi Government in last over nine and half years.

Talking to reporters here today during the launch of state-of-the-art, Artificial Intelligence (AI) supported Telemedicine Mobile Clinic “Aarogya-Doctors on Wheels” for his Lok Sabha constituency’s remote hilly areas of Ramnagar region, Dr Jitendra Singh said due to the constant neglect of these remote and far-flung areas they were totally deprived of road connectivity as well as health care facilities.

He said with a vested interest the successive Governments did not bother for the development of these areas as they wanted to keep them deprived of all the facilities so that they can xploit them from time to time.
