roles added ₹39.90 crore to its kitty across all languages, bringing the total to ₹241.66 crore. Animal also boasts of a strong ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Shakti Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. It would not be wrong to say that Animal is giving tough competition to Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, headlined by Vicky Kaushal. Both films hit the big screens on December 1. Sharing the day 3 collection of Animal on X (formerly known as Twitter), Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “Tsunami – Hurricane – Typhoon… Animal has a historic weekend… Animal packs a blockbuster total in its opening weekend, despite ‘A’ certification…” The film critic mentioned that on Sunday, Animal collected a total of ₹70.69 crore, with ₹63.46 crore from the Hindi version and ₹7.23 crore contributed by South-Indian languages
