Delhi & Punjab Governments should take immediate remideal steps to control pollution: Delhi BJP President

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has today in a letter to AAP Convenor & Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has condemned the Delhi & Punjab government’s for their Failure to control the causes of pollution in the two states which has resulted in turning Delhi into a Gas Chamber.

Letter says that it is a matter of regret that the two Aam Aadmi Party headed governments are totally visionless on steps to be taken to fight & combat pollution causes like parali burning by Punjab farmers, mantainance of roads & laying off the pollutant vehicles and strengthening roads & public transport infrastructure.

Delhi BJP President has urged CM Arvind Kejriwal to imagine what Delhiites would have faced had the Centre Government not constructed Eastern Western Periphels & other Highways in Delhi like Delhi Meerut Highway, Dwarka Expressway, Dhaula Kaun Mahipalpur road, 3rd Ring etc and had not Gifted 700 Electrical Buses for Delhiites to DTC.

In the letter Delhi BJP President has expressed shock over Punjab Government not using machines & funds of thousands of crores rupees provided by Centre Government to help stop Parali burning by Punjab farmers.

Letter expresses shock over the failure of Kejriwal Government to mantain withered roads of both PWD & MCD or to do Plantation on roadsides apart from stern steps to lay off road lacs of Non Pollution Level confining vehicles which has totally choked Delhi’s air.

Sachdeva has said that its sad that despite our best efforts Kejriwal government has not involved opposition parties in the fight against pollution nor has shown any will to combat pollution elements.

Delhi BJP President has concluded his letter by calling upon Arvind Kejriwal to involve all stake holders and take remideal steps to fight against pollution.
