On Thursday, at the conclusion of the 10-day Ganesh Utsav, a procession was taken out to immerse the idols of Vighnaharta with drums and chants of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’.
This festival, which started on September 19 with Ganesh Chaturthi, is ending on Anant Chaturdashi on Thursday.
The Visarjan Yatra of Tezukaya and Ganesh Gali Mandals in Mumbai’s Lalbagh area, known for celebrating the festival with grandeur, began with chants of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya
The procession for the immersion of the famous Lalbaugcha Raja statue was the main center of attraction. A large number of devotees also gathered at the Shroff building of Lalbagh to see the shower of flowers on the Ganesh idols
