Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first against Nepal in Pallekele. Both teams have made one change in their playing XI from their last respective matches against Pakistan. Former India fast bowler Javagal Srinath is officiating in his 250th ODI as match referee.

For India Jasprit Bumrah, who has gone home for the birth of his child, is replaced by Mohammed Shami. Meanwhile, in Nepal’s playing XI Bhim Sharki has replaced Aarif Sheikh. However, rain has played spoilsport so far and the game has witnessed a few stops and starts.
