Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Thursday claimed that the trouble for chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had increased due to the recent developments in court. A court on Thursday allowed Hyderabad businessman P Sarath Chandra Reddy, accused in a money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam, to turn approver. Sachdeva said, “Rouse Avenue Court’s orders have increased the tension of CM Arvind Kejriwal and will give sleepless nights to (former deputy CM) Manish Sisodia.” After the court accepted Reddy’s plea to become an approver and pardoned him, “it is now certain that the South Group related to Delhi government’s liquor ‘scam’ will open up soon”. Sachdeva claimed that soon “the role of Kejriwal and Sisodia would be decided in court and both will get long jail terms”. AAP did not comment on the allegations
